Xuzhou's import and export of construction machinery increased significantly

According to statistics from the city's commercial department, in the first three quarters, the city's construction machinery imports and exports completed 1.123 billion U.S. dollars, an increase of 50.15% year-on-year, and the import and export share accounted for 33% of the city's total imports and exports. Among them, the export of construction machinery accounted for 27.85% of the city's exports, an increase of 4.1% over August, and imports accounted for 42% of the city's total.

Driven by the XCMG Group, this year, the city’s construction machinery industry’s import and export main body has increased. The number of companies with import and export performance in the first 9 months has reached 130, an increase of 50 over the same period of last year, among which 10 companies exported more than US$5 million. There are 6 companies that export more than USD 10 million.

From the export geographical point of view, the export market of construction machinery in our city was mainly distributed in Asia in recent years. With the development of emerging markets in recent years, Latin America and Oceania have become the fastest growing areas for export of construction machinery. In the import market, Japan, Germany, and the United States ranked the top three in the city's engineering machinery imports.
