At the 2014 Beijing Auto Show, General Manager Daisuke Hiroshi of Toyota China Investment Co., Ltd. said in an interview with the media that Toyota plans to launch 15 new models for the Chinese market in the next three years. In addition, Toyota also released its future business development strategic goals in China.

According to Daxi Hongzhi, in the three years to the end of 2017, Toyota will launch 15 new models for the Chinese market, and Toyota will further strengthen its production system to meet the different needs of Chinese consumers. In addition, Toyota's new TNGA platform has now officially entered the product development stage. The TNGA platform can create new vehicles ranging from compact to mid-range. We might guess that Toyota’s 15 new models for China in the next 3 years may be built on Toyota’s new TNGA platform.

First, Toyota strives to rank first in the Chinese market for Japanese brand market share. Second, it strives to rank third in the market share of major brands.
