International Diesel Engine Reliability International Technology Innovation Alliance Established

Shandong Heavy Industry Weichai Group led the establishment of the International Technical Innovation Alliance for Reliability of Internal Combustion Engines. The innovation alliance is based on the Shandong Provincial Key Laboratory of Reliability of Internal Combustion Engines, and is jointly established with 19 organizations including the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Tsinghua University. It will match engine reliability, key component reliability, and internal combustion engine applications. In areas such as reliability, in-depth technological research and cooperation.

The establishment of the International Engine Innovation Association for the Reliability of Internal Combustion Engines aims to jointly overcome the technical barriers of domestic engines through the combination of production, learning, research and application, accelerate the commercialization of key common technical scientific and technological achievements, and improve the internal combustion engine's independent development capabilities and technological innovation achievements. The radiation capability has created a new model of the internal combustion engine, the national strategic industry's industrial production, research and development interest community, which reflects the long-term development benefits of the national key industry and is another milestone in the development of the technical innovation of the reliable internal combustion engine industry in China.
