Mercedes-Benz Launches Compact Zero-emission Pickup Concept Car - Smart For-us


Recently, Mercedes-Benz company, according to Mercedes-Benz Smart's design concept released a compact zero emission pickup concept car - Smart For-us.



Smart For-us's body length, width and height are 3547, 1506, and 1701 (mm) respectively. It can take two passengers. The rear storage area can accommodate two smart electric bicycles. Similar to the body length of the Fiat 500, it is about 167mm shorter than the MINI COOPER. The interior design is full of round elements, a sense of avant-garde technology, and the use of aluminum alloy material modification, more texture. The new car can accommodate two passengers in the car. The rear body can easily place two smart electric bicycles, and the rear of the car is equipped with a retractable baffle and cargo floor.



The Smart For-Us engine system is a plug-in electric horse system as well as the European Smart Fortwo Electric Drive. This electric horse mounted behind the car produces 75 horsepower and 13.2 kgm of torque. The For-Us Concept's top speed is 120km/h, while the electric horse's power comes from a group of 17.6 kWh lithium-ion batteries. The kinetic energy recovery system will also charge the battery without stepping on the throttle.



The smart for-us is located in the city pickup truck and is designed for fashion young people who value low emissions. Mercedes-Benz decided that the new car will be officially released at the Detroit Auto Show next January.
