Maintenance and repair of concrete mixer trucks

1. As a transport vehicle, a concrete mixer truck must comply with the regulations of the Ministry of Communications of the People's Republic of China on December 13, 1990 for the maintenance and repair, and implement the maintenance and repair system of “regular testing, compulsory maintenance, and repair as required”. Under this premise, combined with the actual situation of the concrete mixer truck, do a good job of maintenance and repair. In terms of daily maintenance, in addition to the routine maintenance of automobile engines, chassis, etc., concrete mixer trucks must also perform the following maintenance work.

2. Clean concrete storage tanks (agitating drums) and inlet/outlet ports. Because the concrete will solidify into hard blocks within a short period of time and have certain corrosivity to steel and paint, each time the concrete tank is used, it is washed and adhered to it. Concrete storage tanks and concrete on the inlet and outlet are daily tasks that must be carefully performed.

3. Rinse the feed inlet with water before each charge to keep the feed inlet moist while charging.

4. Fill the cleaning water tank that comes with the vehicle while loading;

5. Rinse the feed inlet after filling and clean the remaining concrete near the feed inlet;

6. After unloading at the construction site, flush the discharge chute, and then add 30 to 40 L of cleaning water to the concrete tank; keep the concrete tank rotating at a slow speed while the vehicle is returning;

7. Remember to drain the sewage from the concrete tank before loading the next time;

8. Thoroughly clean the concrete tank and the inlet and outlet of the concrete around the day of work to ensure that there is no cement and concrete agglomeration. If these tasks are not carried out carefully once, they will cause great trouble for future work.
