The loss increases, so it can only be used for short-distance, low-bandwidth signal transmission.
Therefore, multimode fiber is characterized by supporting multiple modes of signal transmission, but the transmission distance is short.
The single-mode, dual-mode, and tri-mode transmission modes that are converted into wireless bridges are wireless bridges that support one, two, and three signal transmission modes.
The difference between a wireless bridge and an optical fiber is that the former uses air as a transmission medium, and the latter uses an optical fiber as a transmission medium.
