National brewing lithium battery subsidy policy

National brewing lithium battery subsidy policy

The lithium battery industry, known as the “heart” of new energy vehicles, is expected to welcome favorable opportunities such as fiscal support policies. On the 13th, the 2nd China International Forum on Lithium New Energy Industry was held in which 400 companies and 700 industry representatives attended the conference and were honored as the Davos Summit of the lithium battery industry.

The Shanghai Daily reporter learned from the meeting that the acceleration of lithium battery-based power battery development is very urgent, we must increase policy support, strengthen technological innovation and business model innovation, and promote the popularization of China's new energy vehicles.

According to relevant experts of the National 863 Electric Vehicles, it is not enough to support new energy auto companies. The relevant state agencies are also brewing relevant policies and measures to support the subsidy of power lithium batteries to stimulate the maturity of the new energy auto market.

According to China Battery Network CEO Yu Qingjiao, in the first half of 2014, the total output value of China's lithium-ion battery industry (including batteries, anode and cathode materials, separators, electrolytes, and special equipment, etc.) was close to 40 billion yuan, and the industrial structure and new Technology applications continue to show new bright spots. In the second half of the year, domestic production of lithium-ion batteries and key materials is also growing steadily. The total annual industrial output value is expected to exceed 90 billion yuan. Last year, the figure was 50 billion yuan, and the explosive growth trend was obvious.

According to experts, the rapid growth of China's lithium battery industry has benefited from the market demand for new energy vehicles. The latest statistics from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology show that from January to October this year, the sales of new energy vehicles in China reached 47,000, and the annual sales are expected to reach 60,000 to 70,000 units, a year-on-year increase of 4 times. By 2015, this sales volume will reach 250,000. Vehicles will show a doubled trend for two consecutive years. For Lithium-listed companies, the growth of smart phones has slowed down, and orders from new energy vehicles will become the strongest growth drivers for companies.

In fact, at present, China's new energy vehicles and power battery industries are all in a critical period of development. They face unprecedented opportunities and face many risks and challenges.

Since the beginning of this year, ATL, LG and other Japanese and Korean battery giants have expanded their production in China, and China's battery companies are still in a state of small scattered and low-level redundant construction. The gap between Japanese and Korean battery giants that have already supplied Tesla is widening. . For a long time, the development of the power battery industry has become a major problem that has constrained the development of China's new energy automotive industry, and has also received the attention and attention of high-level government officials.

In September of this year, Vice Premier Ma Kai of the State Council stressed the need to increase policy support, speed up the research and introduction of relevant policies and regulations, and further increase financial, taxation, financial, industrial and other policy support when investigating R&D of power batteries in Tianjin. It is necessary to strengthen industry norms and guidance, encourage enterprises to merge and restructure, enlarge and strengthen advantageous enterprises, and promote the sustained and healthy development of the industry.

In terms of the company, Dongyuan Electric intends to be transformed into a lithium-ion power battery by Guoxuan Hi-Tech, and Guoxuan Hi-Tech will account for approximately 20% of the domestic lithium-ion battery market. In the first half of this year, the company’s power lithium-ion battery shipment was approximately 0.11GWh. Ranked third in the country.

Since the beginning of the year, the company has issued 64 patent statements, and it is the only “pure” power lithium battery company in China. It is reported that after the company’s listing on the backdoor, it is expanding its production capacity, developing the national market and becoming internationalized. Wanxiang Qianchao, the majority shareholder of Wanxiang Group, also has more capacity for lithium battery production. Its core customers include Haima Motors, Condi Motors and Dongfeng Motor.
