I. Activity background

"Made in China" has won an absolute market overseas, but it has also left obstacles for transformation and upgrading. With the low cost, high volume of production, and export subsidies, it is difficult to maintain a new era in which domestic labor costs have risen and neighboring countries have followed the example of intensive production. However, after more than two decades of accumulation, we have also seen a lot of outstanding companies and products emerging from “Made in China.” They have a global vision of management. Their product quality and manufacturing standards have become benchmarks within the industry. They are the healthy forces in the field of manufacturing in China! In the current era of manufacturing companies requiring their own survival and development and transformation and upgrading of external requirements, the experience and positive energy of these models are worth sharing.

In order to reshape the image of China's manufacturing, pass on China's manufacturing wisdom, and help large numbers of operators in the Chinese manufacturing industry successfully achieve industrial transformation and upgrading, the School of Management of Zhejiang University and China Manufacturing Network will be in Zijingang Campus of Zhejiang University on July 10, 2014.
