The wollastonite concentrate grade can reach 90%, and the FE2O3 content Less than 0.25%, the ore recovery rate is 70%. 3 Yuan Jizu et al reported the theoretical study on the flotation separation of wollastonite and diopside. The use of dodecylamine hydrochloride as a collector and tannic acid as an inhibitor can effectively float wollastonite. Zhang Shouxiang et al studied the difference between flotation properties of wollastonite and quartz, and pointed out that in a weakly acidic medium, the combination of dodecylamine and sodium oleate can enhance the ability to capture quartz and improve the selectivity of the flotation process. 4 Fang Heping, Xu Xiaojun and others studied the surface chemistry of wollastonite and quartz, and studied the flotation characteristics of these two minerals when using dodecylamine as a collector. the experiment shows: a. Wollastonite and quartz have similar surface chemistry, surface zeta potential is negative, and lack of metal ions, making these two minerals easy to float with amine collectors. b. Sulfuric acid as an inhibitor with dodecylamine as a collector can effectively separate wollastonite and quartz. The recovery and grade of both minerals are above 95%. c. In the weakly acidic medium, the obvious difference in the adsorption and adsorption strength of dodecylamine on the surface of quartz and wollastonite, and the dissolution of sulfuric acid on the surface of silica are the key to the effective separation of quartz and wollastonite. d. Wollastonite and diopside have similar crystal structure. Foreign countries generally choose magnetic separation method, but Wuhan University of Technology Cao Mingli, Yuan Jizu, Yuan Chuxiong use cationic collector dodecylamine hydrochloride and tannic acid as inhibitors. Successfully realized the flotation separation of wollastonite and diopside.
