The second phase of the Sino-German electric vehicle charging project has ushered in an important milestone since its launch in March 2015. Recently, the project was held in Beijing. Twenty-three experiential users will begin a three-month electric vehicle charging experience in Beijing to explore in depth the charging status and research solutions in semi-public areas in Beijing (eg living quarters, office buildings, shopping malls and government buildings). The Sino-German brands participating in the project include: Audi, BMW, BAIC, Daimler, Volkswagen, BMW Brilliance and Tengshi. At the same time, Tsinghua University, China Automotive Technology Research Center, Germany's Mannheim Dermatology Institute and other well-known Sino-German scientific research institutions and electric vehicle charging service provider Sentong Zhida participated in relevant research work. According to the first phase of the project, as of the end of 2014, only 7% of residential units in Beijing had the necessary conditions for the installation of private charging facilities, and because most property management companies did not fully understand the charging facilities, charging security, household coordination and There are certain concerns about management. Therefore, the development of semi-public area charging is also particularly important to promote the popularity of electric vehicles. The second phase of the project will include: semi-public area charging location selection and feasibility analysis, empirical research on the charging infrastructure business operation model, and user demand and charging behavior research. The second phase of the project will be completed in December 2015 and is expected to form preliminary results in early 2016.
