The project team used polytetrafluoroethylene and polyphenylene sulfide composite polymers to construct a superhydrophobic coating with a low surface energy hydrophobic group and a porous network micro-nanostructure on the surface using a one-step film-forming method. The coating has excellent super-hydrophobic properties, high bonding strength with the substrate, acid and alkali resistant medium, high temperature resistance and long-term stability, and lays the foundation for the engineering application of super-hydrophobic organic coating materials.
The Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics began research on low surface energy organic coating materials in the 1990s. In recent years, progress has been made in the preparation of surface micro/nanostructures and hydrophobic properties of engineering materials, and has been applied for and obtained a number of Chinese inventions. patent.
