Due to the new process, the consumption of paraxylene (PX) raw materials is reduced, the consumption of acetic acid (HAc) solvents is reduced, and the product quality is improved. The average cost per ton of PTA products reduces production costs by 800-1000 yuan.
For newly constructed PTA installations, investment costs are reduced by 30-35%.
