Goodyear Tire Company announced that it has fully controlled Nippon Giant Tire Corporation (NGT) in Japan and acquired the shares of the company in the Toyo Rubber Industry and Mitsubishi Motors. Goodyear Tire Company acquired a majority stake in NGT in 1985.
