On the 12th of 2012, Goodyear Tire & Rubber announced that it had appointed RonCastro as the general manager of the newly established Goodyear Philippines and Distribution Markets and was responsible for the company's operations in the Philippines, Taiwan, Vietnam and Hong Kong. Ron Castro, New General Manager of Goodyear Philippines RonCastro was transferred to Manila for a new position on December 1st. He will be directly responsible for the business of the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in the Philippines and will oversee the development strategy and plans of the company in Taiwan, Vietnam and Hong Kong. RonCastro joined Goodyear in 2005 as Director of Communications in the Asia Pacific region.
