China is a major producer and exporter of global lighting products. China's lighting standards have been equivalent to the IEC series of lighting standards as early as 2002. At present, China has formulated and issued 23 national standards for lighting safety GB 7000 series, of which GB 7000.1 is the basic standard in the series of standards.
