However, the logistics efficiency in Chongqing is not high or even backward. Although China's GDP is less than 5% of the world's, some energy consumption and consumables account for 25-50% of the world's total. The Chinese economy is like a huge baby. The scale and consumption in the primary stage have already been very large. At the same time, the regional economy has also experienced an unbalanced development. The reason is further analyzed by Wu Yuzhang: Social development requires the coordinated development of capital flow, information flow, and logistics. Only under the conditions of balanced development of third-rate co-ordination can society develop harmoniously. Different from the situation in developed countries, China's capital flow develops rapidly, and information flow develops very quickly. However, the development of actual goods flow is very inconsistent with the other two flows. Due to the extreme inefficiency of logistics, our comprehensive costs are approaching the average level in Asia and exceed many Asian countries. Therefore, in order to promote the harmonious development of the economy, we must proceed from the construction of the special zone to the coastal economy, to the inland areas of the central and western regions, and to the overall economy of the old industrial base in northeast China. Regarding the brutal facts faced by China's logistics industry, Wu Yuzhang urged that the development mode of China's road transport must evolve from low-tonnage, low-perfect rate, low-speed medium-duty trucks to high-tonnage, high-perfect rate, high-speed heavy-duty trucks, from bulk cargo The development of trucks to container trucks has grown from a high proportion of short-distance transport (150 km) to a high proportion of long-distance (300-500 km) or ultra-long-distance (500-3000 km) transport. All in all, the rapid, long-distance and heavy-loading based on an accurate basis is the core value orientation of road transport.
