For the detection of food additive residues in foods, China has formulated standards for corresponding food testing methods for food additives that specify specific use limits and ranges; for food additives that come from natural plants or are used in appropriate amounts according to the production process, such as Natural pigments, thickeners, etc., may exist in foods themselves, and food safety risks are relatively low. There is no need to distinguish between added or naturally occurring conditions, and usually no testing methods are established.
