REVIEW: Johnson Electric today announced the industry's first mechanical valves, motors, sensors and electronic control devices combine an integrated gas meter shut modules. The Saia-GM brand features zero pressure drop, which improves the efficiency of the gas supply network.

The smart gas meter with closed valve product line can be used in the air inlet or outlet of the gas meter. The valve is compact and uses a more flexible bayonet connector. The Saia-GM gas valve complies with EN60079-11:2006 related standards for gas group IIA (methane, propane) and IIB (gas). The valve module can also be custom engineered to meet precise application requirements such as position feedback, temperature sensing or integrated control functions.
