Summary of the latest policy on LED lighting in the country and provinces in 2018

In November 2017, the National Semiconductor Lighting Engineering R&D and Industry Alliance hosted the 14th China International Semiconductor Lighting Forum and 2017 International Third Generation Semiconductor Forum as scheduled, attracting nearly 1,000 industry organizations, government officials and entrepreneurs. Focus on the development of the semiconductor technology industry. Experts call for China's semiconductor lighting to accelerate industrial innovation. In November 2017, the National Semiconductor Lighting Engineering R&D and Industry Alliance hosted the 14th China International Semiconductor Lighting Forum and 2017 International Third Generation Semiconductor Forum as scheduled, attracting nearly 1,000 Industry organizations, government officials and entrepreneurs participated in the development of the semiconductor technology industry. Experts have called for China's semiconductor lighting to accelerate the cultivation of industrial innovation and competitiveness, and accelerate the realization of the leap from large to strong. To achieve the leap-forward development of China's LED lighting industry is inseparable from the support and guidance of national policies. Since the 1990s, LED lighting has entered the field of lighting and has become one of the green and energy-saving lighting methods advocated by the industry and the country. In 2006, the State Council issued the Outline of the National Medium- and Long-Term Science and Technology Development Plan, proposing that high-efficiency, energy-saving and long-life semiconductor lighting products are listed as the first priority theme (industrial energy-saving) in the first key area of the medium and long-term planning (energy); In January 2008, the Ministry of Finance promulgated the Interim Measures for the Administration of Financial Subsidy Funds for Efficient Lighting Products Promotion (Cai Jian [2007] No. 1027), proposing to ensure that 150 million high-efficiency lighting products will be promoted through financial subsidies during the 11th Five-Year Plan period. It can save 29 billion kWh of electricity and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 29 million tons. In recent years, the application rate of LED lighting in China has been continuously improved under the stimulus of the policy, but the status quo is still lower than that of the developed countries, which has prompted the country to continue to introduce new policies, plans and standards to drive the rapid development of China's LED industry. In July 2017, the Development and Reform Commission and other departments jointly issued the “13th Five-Year Development Plan for Semiconductor Lighting Industry”. It is proposed that by 2020, China’s semiconductor lighting key technologies will continue to break through, product quality will continue to improve, product structure will continue to be optimized, and the industrial scale will be steadily expanded. The industrial concentration has gradually increased, forming one or more LED lighting companies with sales exceeding 10 billion yuan, cultivating one or two internationally renowned brands, and about 10 domestic well-known brands.
