Qilu Ethylene Plant Laojiao No. 1 cracking furnace is an auxiliary equipment for 300,000 tons of ethylene. In 2001, it used KTI's technology to implement the first expansion and reconstruction, and the annual processing capacity of 40,000 tons was increased to 60,000 tons, and ethylene yield and energy consumption. The indicators have also been greatly improved, and this successful transformation experience has been rapidly promoted by Sinopec. However, after the transformation, due to the limitation of the operation cycle, the purpose of cracking the tail gas of heavy hydrogenation is basically not achieved.

This year, No. 1 pyrolysis furnace radiant section furnace tube needs to be replaced as a whole according to the design life. From the beginning of the year, the plant engineering technicians began to make careful preparations for the project, and finally determined to use large U-shaped double-row tubes, twisted sheets, and no branches. A series of new technologies, such as a knurled tube, can be used to expand the heavy oil processing capacity, reduce the temperature of the furnace tube, and extend the life of the furnace tube on the premise of constant furnace size. The factory's mechanic workshop independently assumed the high-altitude, cross-cutting, and special operations, and the high-tech difficulty and high-risk projects. From October 8th onwards, after 23 days and nights of construction, the task was completed quickly and high-qualityly. According to the convention, this large-scale reconstruction project should be undertaken by a professional construction team, and the company must pay nearly one million yuan in construction costs. After two days of trial operation, all process parameters have reached the design standards and the equipment is in a stable state of operation. After the improvement, No. 1 cracking furnace will be able to maintain high-load and long-cycle operation under different feedstock conditions such as naphtha and heavy feedstocks. Device production organization is more flexible and more economical.
