Nikolai Setzer, director of Continental tires business, said that the Indian market as the world's second-largest fast-growing market has a large demand for high-quality and safe tires. He believes that radial tires can enter the Indian tire market. In July 2011, the mainland acquired the tire business of Indian Modi Rubber Company for US$30.11 million.
