Jiangsu Xiangshui's first 2 MW pilot wind turbine hoisted successfully

It is understood that through the continuous operation of more than 10 cranes, after 4 days and 4 nights of fighting at sea, the last blade of the 2 megawatt pilot wind turbine in Jiangsu Xiangshui was hoisted in place, marking the successful completion of the first offshore wind turbine hoisting in Jiangsu Province.

The Xiangshui offshore 2 MW test wind turbine is located in the outer Taozikou waters of the Guandong Salt Field in Xiangshui County, Jiangsu Province. It is about 3.5 kilometers away from the coastline and has a water depth of about 4 meters. The W2000-93 model produced by Shanghai Electric Wind Power Equipment Co., Ltd. is used. 2 megawatts, fan base adopts high-pile pile caps. On September 10, 2009, the first steel pipe pile was successfully dropped and hammered, and the construction of the pile foundation was officially started. On September 13th, 8 steel pipe piles were fully completed. On September 30, the concrete of the first phase was poured smoothly. On October 25th, the second phase of concrete was successfully collected and the civil construction was completed. On November 19, the assembly and testing of the pilot wind turbines were completed. On November 20th, wind turbine equipment, lifting equipment and transportation vessels were all in place. On November 21, the fan accessories and tower hoisting were completed. On the 22nd, the "bunny head" assembly was hoisted. On the 23rd, the last blade was lifted.

The Xiangshui Offshore 2MW pilot wind turbine project is undertaken by the China Three Gorges Corporation and the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People's Republic of China, “Selection of Offshore Wind Farm Sites and Development of Wind Turbine Operation and Maintenance Technology,” and “Development of Offshore Wind Turbine Construction and Testing Special Equipment”. The supporting project of the "High-power Wind Turbine Research and Development" Program is a key project of the "11th Five-Year Plan" national scientific and technological breakthrough plan. The project is under the responsibility of the Yangtze New Energy Company.

As the first offshore wind turbine in Jiangsu Province, the project has received strong support and guidance from all levels of departments and units in Jiangsu Province from planning to implementation. The participants of the pilot wind turbine project were united and difficult to forge ahead, studied the implementation plan in depth, discussed relevant technical issues in a timely manner, comprehensively strengthened safety quality management, and conscientiously implemented various safeguard measures, completing the experimental wind turbine in less than three months. The civil installation work. The "Semi-submerged barge bottom + 1000 tons crawler crane" refitting hoisting vessel adopted by the project is the first one at home and abroad, and the "bunny head" hoisting mode is also used for the first time in domestic wind farm construction. The implementation of the project has carried out beneficial explorations on the installation of wind turbine equipment for the special topography of the vast intertidal and shallow waters on the east coast of China, and has accumulated valuable experience for the next large-scale development of offshore wind power in the eastern coast.
