According to foreign media reports, not long ago, Indonesian Goodyear business manager Yeddy Unadidi said that at present, multi-functional vehicles (MPV) and low-cost green car (LCGC) tires still dominate the country's tire market.

According to reports, most of the company's products are sold to the tire replacement market, and there is little demand for becoming an exclusive supplier or as an original tire.

The company's original tire market meets the needs of Daihatsu Grand Max, Sirion, and Honda Brio, while its original tires for commercial vehicles supply Hino and Mitsubishi Fuso.

According to Indonesia Goodyear, sales of multi-purpose vehicles and low-cost green car tires increased by 5% in the first half of this year. The increase was due to the launch of Assurance Duraplus tires and Assurance Triplemax tires.

For the sales of multi-functional vehicles, low-cost green car tires and overall sales in the second half of the year, the company said frankly: Unpredictable, if the car sales improve, the sales of derivatives such as tires will also improve.

The company plans to announce the price of Wrangler Triplemax tires at the end of September and start selling it in November to strengthen the off-road vehicle (SUV) tire market.

Indonesia Goodyear said that it hopes that this new tire product can have a place in the market.

It is reported that this tire is imported from Thailand and Malaysia in order to test the Indonesian market. If the sale is good, it is possible to produce in Indonesia.
