China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Co., Ltd. Becomes First National Demonstration Base for Circular Economy Education

Recently, the National Development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Finance, the National Tourism Administration jointly issued a document to determine the China National Heavy Duty Truck Group Jinan Fuqiang Power Co., Ltd., the country nine units of the first national recycling economy demonstration base education.

But no, they are all engines that have been remanufactured by the engine. Previously, these engines may have been removed from a scrapped heavy truck or they may be the only spare parts on the accident vehicle. But now, their quality and service life are exactly the same as those of the new machine, but the price is only half that of the new machine.

CNHTC Fuqiang Power Co., Ltd. is the first company engaged in the remanufacturing of auto parts in China. In 1998, it invested in R&D and operation, and it is now possible to remanufacture more than 20 types of engines. In 2011, this company remanufactured more than 15,500 engines. It is understood that the energy consumption for newly manufacturing a car engine is 11 times that of remanufacturing. Compared with the newly-manufactured one-vehicle engine for one year, heavy truck produced 5,250 tons of material and saved 682 tons of standard coal, reducing 397 tons of carbon dioxide emissions.

A few days ago, reporters learned from the Ministry of Science and Technology that the task of “Key Technology and Equipment for Remanufacturing Auto Parts” undertaken by Sinotruk Group Jinan Fuqiang Power Co., Ltd. won the National Science and Technology Support Program for the “12th Five-Year Plan”. The project formed 30 independent intellectual property rights in various forms, including academic papers, national invention patents and standards, and applied for 5 national invention patents, and compiled 5 national technical standards.
